The Mercury part number for the Regulator is815279A 2.The casting number may be MTM40N0 8808.This is the part that changes direct current from the stator into alternating current for the battery. It is for use with the black terminal block. It has four wires, 2 yellow, 1 red and 1 black. All wires are intact with no melting or fusing.The engine was tested and ran well with this part.This Voltage Regulator fits many Mercury Mariner outboard motors from 1988-1993 with 75, 90, 100 and 115 HP engines.
