This product replaced an existing one that the housing broke. This one fit quite well and required only two new drilled holes in the overhead. Unlike the old light, this one has no way to fix the led lights - you replace the whole assembly when this occurs. If it doesn't work when you connect it to your boat wiring, reverse the polarity and it will work.
