I bought these on July 9, 2018 and received them on the 12th in good condition and packaged well. Was very pleased with the way they looked. I currently have shoulder length hair of medium thickness. These work well in my hair and feel very comfortable. Beautiful colors and design. My hair use to be down to my hips and twice as thick and if this were still the case, it would be a struggle to use these. But they work well for average length and thickness hair. BUT they are made of VERY thin, stiff and brittle plastic. After using one approximately 20 times, two of the teeth broke off and then the hinge broke into three pieces! I was not rough in my handling of the clip, as a matter of fact, each time a tooth broke off it was while I was laying down on a very soft pillow and that is how the hinge broke also. So, if you are like me and are ill and looking for a way to keep your hair pulled up while in bed, then this ISN'T the product for you. They do work well and are pretty for use while up and about if you handle them gently. I'm keeping mine as it isn't worth the trouble for me, being homebound, to try and return them. I'll just use them on occasion when I won't be laying down. I can't give them a full recommendation, but I want to be fair as they would work for some and I do love the design....just wish they were of a more flexible plastic! I have added a photo of the only one I have used so far and it broke. I haven't made contact with the seller since I plan on keeping the other five clips and I'm not wanting a refund, so no point in making contact. I now see others have had the same issue of breakage so I am sure the seller is aware of the problem.
