I just bought our second pair because they had been getting small, but he didn't want to give them up. Finally after two years of wearing them, a hole appeared in one of the knees. It was time to replace them for the next size up and when they arrived, he was happy.The pin-stripe on the side looks really sharp, and if your son is a "knickers" kind of kid, these are really good ones. The trend now is to wear baseball pants to the shoe tops, but my son likes to wear baseball socks, and quite honestly, it's a great retro baseball look (but his choice).These clean reasonably well, but if you can, buy gray. As a manager, I always have the uniform with gray parents in fear of angry parents (who just don't like white because it never cleans well). Overall, these are great baseball pants and really glad that we got them almost by chance (they were part of an all-star uniform).
