Once you get down the perfect combo of temp and press time thisachine works great. Got tired of spending heaps of money ? for ?. Yealds are good, clear temp screen and good amount of pressure.This was the cheapest entry level press from a reputable company that I could find. Its a great press for personal use, does the job as you can see in the pictures. I press 4 grams max at once. I puck/compress the weed not crazy tight but just enough as shown in the picture. Depending on the strain the yeild can be great or it can be so so.My only complaints are that the plates move and become misaligned pretty much after the first press of each session. Which you can adjust by the screws that hold the plates once the unit cools. A set of screws underneath the unit for the bottom plate and set on the top plate that is in plain site. My other complaint is the handle seems to bind up a tad. This could be my fault putting too much pressure on it. Also something to note that is a negative is when you press the unit wants to tip forward and move around obviously. That can be a pain so to solve that I screwed the backend on both sides to my wooden work bench in the garage using plumbers strap. I highly recommend screwing it down if one can.i had this one for about 3 months. i know i broke it over time because its so hard to gauge the pressure you are applying. i now have a $600 one different brand. not manual. you want an electric press. just buy that instead. and save yourself the time. i will say if you don't have a choice this one does great. if you use it regularly/ weekly your probably going to break it eventually.Not great not terrible exactly what your looking for for a personal budget press?Wow. Im fairly new to pressing rosin. This was perfect for me. Easy to use. Heat setting buttons. Hand press thats allows you to slowly increase pressure. Very well built and sturdy. I recommend for anyone wanting to get into this hobby.Arrived fast. Easy to use after watching a few videos.Works great but do not expect a big yield from a smaller press.I love this thing i’ve used it over 30 times, only wear i see is the lever, maybe it needs to get lubricated with wd40 or some oil because it does get stiff, depending on how much squeeze you want, you have to pull the lever down.I will show you a picture, this area gets kind of “STUCK” in place and you have to press on certain points to get it to press down. I believe i put too much pressure trying to get as much squeeze as i could but it shouldn’t do this. It should only prevent me from squeezing too hard. It did come with extra screws for the bolt lever, so the problem i’m having isn’t too unique to me.Quality is 4.5/5 stars. I have no experience with their customer service as i have learned to live with it, not a huge deal. Price is right, does what i want.I loooove this product! I did learn the hard way that pressure is just as important as heat. If you are not getting a good yield (25% return) it may be because you are not pressing the nug down hard enough. Make sure you can barely get it into locking position for best result. 220 degrees for 90 seconds ?
