Winter time, can’t talk about performance, but they are on the lighter side.My grandson said they were very comfortable.I love everything about them. I use them to play baseball (at a high level, I might add ;)My son uses these for off-season baseball. They fit well, but need a bit of breaking in. Seem to be wearing fine with no issues. Size seems true as advertised with no adjustments needed. Would purchase again.We’ve done baseball for 12 years now and have never used this brand for shoes (usually NB or Adidas/Nike). Well my son loved these and said they were much more comfortable. The leather was soft and supple. They were great for two months. Then we noticed a wretched odor coming from them that will NOT go away no matter what we do. They are so smelly that even the garage reeks now from them being in there. It’s so weird and none of his other shoes stink, so I’m thinking it’s the material itself that holds in all the odors. So for fit, they get 5 stars but for smell they get -100 lol.Mizuno has an extra cleat at upper part of the shoe for better gripping.
